Man Killed By Vehicle Inside Enclosed Construction Site In Virginia, Police Say (Developing)

One person was killed by a vehicle in a construction site in Alexandria on Wednesday morning, police say.

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating the fatal incident.

Shortly after 7:30 a.m. on July 24, officers were called to the 5700 block of Duke Street, where there was a reported injury.

Upon arrival, a spokesperson for the Alexandria Police Department says that they found a man inside the enclosed construction site who was fatally struck by the vehicle.

The incident is now being investigated by the department's Crash Reconstruction Team.

No additional details about the crash were released by police.
